Plumber

About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to repair and maintain the housing facilities’ water, sewer, and gas lines. The

incumbent will also install faucets, hot water heaters, and plumbing fixtures to ensure that all plumbing codes are

satisfied. All activities must support the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (“HACP” or “Authority”) mission,

strategic goals and objectives. Repairs and unclogs sewers, building drains, storm drains, faucets and plumbing fixtures

in the housing units included: toilets, sinks, and bathtubs using various tools; Installs new plumbing fixtures in

apartments; Orders replacement or repair supplies in order to be prepared for routine and unusual plumbing repairs.
