Industrial Boiler Operator

About the Role

UPMC Altoona is looking for a casual Boiler Operator to work Saturday and Sunday 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. With other

days/shifts as needed. Responsibilities: Could be scheduled for off shifts and rotation as needed. Available for on

call. Maintains good relations with other members of the crew, other crews, and all other departments so that work is

performed in a harmonious manner. Complies with established occupational exposure policies. Overall cleanliness of

central plant building, electric service building, and mechanical spaces throughout the facility. Assists in snow

removal duties. Complies with all safety codes whether Federal, State, or local; maintains a safe work environment.
