About the Role

HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT FOREMAN

This position provides support for the maintenance operations of an assigned section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike

System. Work is performed to ensure the roadway is open and well maintained during all types of weather and traffic

conditions in accordance with Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) policies and specifications. In the absence of the

Foreman, the incumbent in this classification will direct and supervise the work of the assigned field location. The

incumbent receives instruction and advice on matters involving departures from established policy. Work is reviewed upon
