About the Role
An equipment mechanic ensures that trucks, machinery and mechanical equipment operate safely and efficiently. They
diagnose problems, perform repairs, and carry out routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other parts Diagnose mechanical issues using testing
equipment and software Repair or replace defective parts (e.g., engines, brakes, transmissions) Perform routine
maintenance like oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacement Keep maintenance records and reports Follow safety
